This weekend... I got to spend some much needed time relaxing and enjoying quality time with friends in Nanyuki at the Mount Kenya Wildlife Estate which is right on the Ol Pejeta Conservancy. (Don't worry, I will try to edit the pictures, and share them via a post; as soon as I can find the time...).

Being down at the Ol Pejeta Conservancy gave me the opportunity to enjoy nature (which we all know I loooove). (Anyway, back to the point of the story...) We decided to do a game drive on Sunday morning, and during the drive, one of my friends mentioned to me that he has never seen any animals at Nairobi National Park, and it kinda shocked me (*insert shocked face*). Nairobi National Park has such a variety of animals, and it's made me feel kinda bad because there is so much to see at the National Park. That conversation made me decide to share a photo-story on Nairobi National Park, and hopefully, it will convince people to give the park a try....

Nairobi Animal Orphanage (or zoo) is in the same place as the National Park so it's always a great place to stop by if you are strapped for time but still want to see some really cool animals.
You also have the option of just going straight for the game drive. The charges depend on nationality, and how the big the car is. Any kind of car can go (so don't panic) because the roads are graded... so feel free to drive in your car and go for a quick drive at the park... it's actually therapeutic.
